The South Tyrolean company “Pizza A Mano” was founded by Michael Kammerer and David Simonetti. The idea for “Pizza A Mano”, South Tyrol’s first premium pizza from the freezer shelf, arose from the original business idea of offering handmade pizza with high quality ingredients and without preservatives from the vending machine.

“Pizza A Mano” stands for unmistakable taste, regional ingredients and handcraft. We rely on only a few processing steps, only use high-quality products and avoid all kinds of preservatives. Easy to prepare, but with premium quality. In short: crispy pizza pleasure like from your favourite pizzeria.
A sophisticated recipe, the best ingredients and 100% handcraft, this is how our “Pizza A Mano” is created. Our dough is allowed to rest for four days and that makes it looser and the yeast more digestible. Then the hand-formed dough base is covered by hand with the best ingredients and carefully pre-baked.
We do all of this exclusively in our pizza workshop in Ehrenburg in South Tyrol.
